vision

At Astraea Technologies, we dream of a future where humanity can thrive anywhere—on Earth, in orbit, and far beyond. We’re on a mission to become a global source for space health data and a leader in pharmaceutical safety for space exploration. Through pioneering research into how cosmic radiation affects drug stability—starting with ibuprofen—and the development of HIRO-LAB, our innovative analysis tool, we aim to ensure medicines remain safe and effective on long-duration missions. Our work will  support  sustainable health solutions for space travel and unlock valuable insights for industries back on Earth. Because when we reach for the stars, our health should go with us.

Astraea origins

Inspired by Astraea, the goddess of justice and innocence, Astraea Technologies was founded on the belief that as humanity reaches for the stars, our health must go with us—safe, sound, and sustainable.

Born from the collaboration of bright minds and seasoned experts, we’re an Australian startup focused on solving one of space exploration’s most critical challenges: keeping essential medicines safe and effective in space. Through pioneering research on cosmic radiation’s effects on pharmaceuticals and our breakthrough HIRO-LAB technology, we’re shaping the future of space medicine—right here in Australia.

Driven by curiosity, collaboration, and the courage to ask tough questions, we’re here to make a global impact—from downunder to the stars.
